工学システム×バイオマテリアルでブレイクスルーを!!

当グループは、マイクロ加工・マイクロ流体デバイス技術を基軸としてバイオや医療などの異分野技術と融合することで、デバイスと細胞や酵素、タンパク質が組み合わさったシステムを世界に先駆けて創出することを目指しています。
特に、生体材料のマイクロ加工技術を基に、体外での細胞培養による組織構築法の確立と、培養組織とデバイスの融合による細胞機能を活用可能なバイオマシンの実現に注力しています。
どんな細胞でも、誰でも使える培養組織構築方法を明らかにし、電子・機械・情報工学を基盤とする培養組織の産業化を実現することで、社会に新たなブレイクスルーを引き起こします。
